Membership at Derby Rowing Club is open to all. A list of our membership types can be seen below.

As a member of our club, you will gain access to our professional land and water rowing equipment, access to the club bar and catering facilities. 

​

We provide a comprehensive training programme delivered by friendly and experienced coaches who are passionate about rowing.

Our club has influenced a large number of people in extremely positive ways, creating lifelong friendships, improving fitness and with a positive environment that brings people

Application for Membership.

Please complete the following form to apply for membership of Derby RC. This will be sent to the Club Captain and Membership Secretary for approval.

If the applicant is under 18 years of age the form MUST be signed by a parent or guardian to confirm that they: 

  • Agree to the applicant taking part in the Club's rowing and training activities.

  • Consent to emergency medical attention being given should it be required. 

  • Are aware that the Club's Welfare Officer is Emily Carr.

  • Agree to images of your child being used on the Club's social media forum.

Do you have any equipment that you would like to store at the club.

Rowing and the land training associated with it can be strenuous and any activity on water can be potentially dangerous.


If you answered yes to any questions above Derby Rowing Club advise you to contact your doctor and seek medical advice BEFORE you begin rowing.

Upon acceptance into membership of Derby Rowing Club, I understand that rowing, training & other exercise is undertaken at my own risk. I confirm that I do not suffer from any disability or medical condition that may render me unfit for strenuous exercise. Should a medical condition exist or later develop this will not necessarily preclude you from membership/participation but it must be declared and action plans agreed. Should you be in any doubt, advise should be sort from your doctor.


I consent to my images being used on the club’s social media forum.
